(AllHipHop News) American R&B superstar Chris Brown was held in The Philippines for days after the country's government barred him from leaving. Brown was scheduled to depart Manilla on Wednesday, but he was ordered to stay for allegedly not paying nearly $1 million to a concert promoter for a canceled New Year’s Eve show last year.

CB was finally cleared to leave The Philippines today after securing an emigration clearance certificate. The ECC cleared the singer of having any legal obligations in the nation.
A relieved Brown posted a video message to his Manilla fans on social media. The clip shows him walking on an airport tarmac. Brown tells the camera, "We finna come to Macau."
A Christian group called Iglesia ni Cristo filed a fraud complaint against Brown for not showing up to their sponsored show last December. It is not clear what will happen with the politically powerful minority sect's complaint now that the Virginia native has left the Southeast Asian country.
Brown previously denied any wrongdoing in the situation.
