(AllHipHop News) Nipsey Hussle's fans are targeting Chris Darden's family and harassing them over his decision to defend the rap star's killers.
A man named Eric Holder, 29, was arrested last Tuesday (April 3)? in Bellflower, Florida and charged with the murder of Nipsey Hussle.
Holder is accused of gunning Nipsey down in the parking lot of The Marathon Clothing store, over a petty argument earlier in the day, where Nipsey supposedly called him a "snitch."
Holder's bail was set at $7 million and many were shocked to see Christopher Darden representing the man accused of murdering Nip.
He was called about by a variety of rappers, including Meek Mill, who branded him a "house nigger" and now Darden's kids are being harassed.
Jenee Darden posted a message on her Instagram account earlier in the week, supporting Nipsey.
Just a few days later, her dad was defending Nipsey's killer. According to Jenee, she had no idea her dad was going to defend Holder, nor was she ready for the intense backlash.
"I've been receiving vile comments and messages since news broke that my father, Chris Darden, is the defense attorney for the man accused of killing Nipsey Hussle," Jenee Darden said.
"Like many of you, I found out about my father's involvement in the case while scrolling through social media. I was not prepared for this backlash that has triggered bad memories from the O.J. Simpson Trial. My father is a grown man and has been a defense attorney for some time. I have no say in the cases he takes on."
