NBC is launching a variety show that puts celebrities against each other to see who's better. It has been reported that the network wants to bring I Can Do That! to TV sets this summer in six, hour-long shows. With Marlon Wayans as the host, the cast will feature the likes of Ciara, comedian Jeff Dye, singer Joe Jonas, former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and Alan Ritchson of The Hunger Games challenging each other in competitions to discover skills that they never knew they had.
"We're excited to watch our all-star cast rise to the challenges ahead in such a fresh, new way," said Paul Telegdy, NBC's president of alternative programming. "Our viewers are going to fall in love with how these natural born entertainers push themselves outside of their comfort zones to put on a spectacular show every week."
The weekly show will feature the cast separating into two teams and facing off in challenges that include song, dance, danger and magic. Production is taking place in 15 countries including Brazil, Italy, Spain, Finland and Mexico.
