City Girls Member JT Turns Herself In To Serve Prison Sentence For Fraud

It's been a rollercoaster weekend for the Drake co-signed Floridians.

(AllHipHop News) After Migos, Lil Yachty, and Lil Baby, it appeared City Girls were the next Quality Control Music connected act to blow. The South Florida-bred duo was making waves with singles such as "I'll Take Your Man" and "Where The Bag At."

Unfortunately, one half of the group is facing legal troubles. According to reports, Jatavia "JT" Johnson entered a Federal Detention Center in Miami to serve a sentence for fraud charges.

JT was out on bond, and she now has a reported release date of March 21, 2020. The official City Girls Instagram page posted:

Before we was rapping we was hustling we never been no bum bitches always been about our MONEY!! Jt left to vacation but she’ll be back sooner than later stronger than before❤️ FREE JT ITS A MOVEMENT!!!!!!

The weekend was bitter-sweet for City Girls. JT was incarcerated but, the tandem also got a co-sign from Drake when he used their vocals on his new album Scorpion.

Additionally, JT and Yung Miami appeared on 2017's Quality Control: Control the Streets Volume 1 compilation. They dropped their debut full length project Period in May.
