Colin Kaepernick Donates $34,000 To J. Cole’s Dreamville Foundation

The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback is continuing with his Million Dollar Pledge.

(AllHipHop News) J. Cole has been one of the most outspoken celebrity supporters of Colin Kaepernick.

The Roc Nation recording artist shouted out Kap during his "4 Your Eyez Only Tour" stop in Baltimore earlier this month.

"The type of sh*t that's happening here, don't you think somebody should risk their whole livelihood and their whole life to talk about this sh*t? Even if it cost them their money, their job, their life? Don't that sound like Colin Kaepernick? Don't that sound like what he's doing? And he trying to come to Baltimore, the city that seems to need that sh*t for real," Cole told the crowd that night.

Reports have now come out that Kaepernick used money from his "Million Dollar Pledge" to contribute $34,000 to Cole’s non-profit organization.

"This month I donated $100k to these organizations fighting oppression and uplifting our communities: 100 Suits for 100 Men, Lower Eastside Girls Club and J. Cole's Dreamville Foundation," posted the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback. "Two more months to go til I complete my Million Dollar Pledge. See where all the donations have gone on www.kaepernick7.com."

ESPN reporter Darren Rovell tweeted a breakdown of Kaepernick's committed funds for the Dreamville Foundation, the Lower Eastside Girls Club, and 100 Suits for 100 Men.

The information revealed Kaepernick and Cole will release details about the projects they have in development in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, a large crowd of demonstrators gathered outside the NFL's Manhattan headquarters on Wednesday to object to the fact that Kaepernick has not been picked up by a team for this season.

There is widespread speculation the 2013 Superbowl QB is being "blackballed" for his stance against police brutality and racial discrimination which included Kap kneeling during the playing of the national anthem as a form of silent protest.
