Common Is Helping Starbucks Tackle Racism

Starbucks has enlisted Common to help then rehab at their image.

(AllHipHop News) Chicago rapper Common has linked with Starbucks, to help the company with its diversity policy.

Over 8,000 stores will close for the day on May 29th, as employees undergo racial bias training.

Common will be a part of the training next week when he will deliver a message to an estimated 175,000 workers.

Starbucks came under International scrutiny after two black men were arrested on April 12, while waiting to meet with a white colleague.

A manager called the cops on the men, claiming they were trespassing in the venue after they asked to use the bathroom instead of making a purchase.

Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson apologized and Starbucks eventually reached a settlement with the men.
