Complex Issues Statement About Joe Budden Leaving 'Everyday Struggle'

Things are set to change at the online debate show.

(AllHipHop News) Everyday Struggle became a trending topic on Twitter this morning. Social media users began discussing the Complex News debate show after the program's original host Joe Budden suggested he was in the middle of a contract dispute with the media company.

"My contract is up… waiting to see how this plays out," tweeted Budden on Monday. "I am not on paternity [leave] & they should stop using my 3 day old child to mask internal chaos, thx."

AllHipHop reached out to Complex to get clarity on Budden's current status with Everyday Struggle. Jennifer St. Clair, SVP Communications at Complex Networks, issued a statement.

"I can confirm that Joe Budden is not continuing as a host on Everyday Struggle in 2018. The show will be back in the New Year with all new episodes and guests. We wish Joe all the best and thank him for a great 2017," offered St. Clair.

DJ Whoo Kid has been serving as the guest co-host on this week's episodes of Everyday Struggle. He joined regular host DJ Akademiks and moderator Nadeska Alexis.

Probably won't watch it without Joe, he created the show, he is the face of the show and he brought the right balance and insider info to the show. Congrats on Baby Budden. No disrespect to Ak and Deska but i don't think they could hold the show down on their own and I believe a lot of artist will fall back from the show off principle. He has the relationships with the artist, and they respect him more than Ak, didn't even know what Ak looked like before the show and really started checking out his content because of the show.
