Coogi Goes Files Lawsuit Against Brooklyn Nets Over Jerseys Honoring B.I.G.

The clothing brand is suing New Era and The Brooklyn Nets.

(AllHipHop News) What started off as a tribute to late rap star Biggie Smalls in his hometown of Brooklyn, has devolved into a lawsuit.

According to reports, Coogie has slapped New Era and The Brooklyn Nets with a lawsuit, for using their trademarked design on a jersey the team wore on November 17, to honor B.I.G.

The team wore and sold the designs under their "City Edition" collection since the Bad Boy rapper loved the colorful clothing line, which was immortalized on "One More Chance/Stay With Me."
