Cops In Auckland Beg The Public To Give Up Information On Rae Sremmurd Stabbing

A violent incident in New Zealand has put a dark cloud over the American rap stars' tour down under.

(AllHipHop News) The police in Auckland, New Zealand are hoping witnesses can help get to the bottom of a bloody fight involving Rae Sremmurd.

The rap stars were engaged in a savage brawl on Federal Street in the city's downtown district earlier this week.

One man was stabbed with a glass bottle and had to be treated at the hospital after the altercation.

The unidentified victim had to undergo surgery, and he is currently recovering.

Footage of Slim Jxmmi talking to the cops went viral shortly after the incident.

Slim Jxmmi also posted a video on Instagram showing off his bandaged hand, while blasting the media for peddling negative news about him.

But the cops are keeping up the pressure to get to the bottom of the incident.

"This is an area with a lot of people out and about and we'd like to hear from anyone who saw what happened or anyone who filmed it on their phone," said a representative for the Auckland Police.

So far, police have not pressed any charges although they continue to investigate the stabbing.

As for Rae Sremmurd, the group is still in New Zealand for a show at the Logan Campbell Center this evening.
