Cops Say No Mention Of Rapper Yo Gotti Being A Person Of Interest For Shooting Young Dolph

Yo Gotti may NOT be a person of interest in the high-profile shooting case of Young Dolph.

(AllHipHop News) Conflicting information is already causing some confusion in the high-profile shooting of Memphis rapper Young Dolph.

Dolph was shot multiple times yesterday (September 26) after an altercation with three men near the valet parking area of the Loews Hollywood Hotel.

The argument escalated into gunfire, and Young Dolph was hit with multiple rounds.

Although he's in critical condition, the rapper is expected to survive.

The outlet cited sources, who claimed Yo Gotti was at the scene of the fight and was an active participant.

However, a new report in Memphis' Commercial Appeal is questioning whether Yo Gotti is a suspect in the shooting.

"While we were there at the scene, there was no mention of him being a person of interest,” police officer Mike Lopez told the Commercial Appeal. Yo Gotti has been feuding with Young Dolph for over almost two years.

Prior to yesterday's shooting, Young Dolph was also targeted, allegedly by members of Yo Gotti's crew.

He's pleaded innocent to one count of felony conspiracy and six charges of discharging a firearm into occupied property.

Blac Youngsta claims someone stole a van that was rented in his and used in the shooting, where over at 100 rounds were fired at Young Dolph, who happened to be in a bulletproof SUV.
