Dame Dash Responds To Lyor Cohen's Comments: I Benched You For The Culture

Is Dame right about Lyor being a culture vulture?

(AllHipHop News) For years, Damon Dash has suggested Lyor Cohen is a "culture vulture." Cohen responded to the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder on a 2015 episode of the Rap Radar podcast.

The feud was brought up again during Cohen's recent interview on The Breakfast Club. The veteran music industry insider replied, “Who’s Dame Dash? I don't even know him. You're bringing his name up. I don’t even know him."

Cohen was a top executive at Def Jam at the time Roc-A-Fella was an imprint under that major label. Dash took issue with Cohen dismissing their past business relationship as well as his comments about profiting off artists addicted to drugs.

He flayed Lyor on Instagram, writing:

Thanks for this #liarCohen... for proving my point in true #culturevulture form...they make money off us and then try to erase our true history and act like the real ones never existed... not gonna happen bro...I benched you for the culture...enjoy your desk job at @youtube ...your going down in history for who you really are...I made sure of that... @2mabasa how do you even work with this clown...look how he disrespect yours brothers #staytuned @culturevultures_book.. and y’all see he’s unapologetic...he pays his bills at the expense of us... big question is why can’t he sell any rock music?...why can’t he eat with his own culture?..stop fronting on my people like you mean something... your own culture laughs at you ...

Dame never had a problem with any of the "BIG Culture Vulture's" until he left the music business & then realized no one wanted to deal with him anymore! There are plenty of video's & interviews of him after he ended Dame Dash Music Group talking about how he's about doing new thing's & that he didn't want to be involved with the music business anymore. About 2 years later when all of the stories about him going broke & him owing the IRS came out he started lashing out at everyone from his past still making $$$ in the music business.

Dame didn't have anything to say until he fell on hard times and went broke. He is another bitter ninja. Ninjas never talk this nonsense when they are chilling with the "culture vultures" and robbing other folks and stunting on the smaller people. Forget Dame
