The baller/rapper stops by 'Sway In The Morning' to promote his new album and talk sports.

(AllHipHop News) In case you were unaware, Damian Lillard is not just an All-Star point guard for the Portland Trail Blazers. He's also a rapper who releases music under the moniker Dame Dolla.

The NBA basketball player stopped by Sway In The Morning to promote his forthcoming album Confirmed dropping on October 6. In addition, Dame was questioned about Colin Kaepernick not being signed by an NFL team after the quarterback silently protested during the playing of the national anthem by taking a knee.

"I think it's unfortunate. He's obviously decided that he's going to stand up for something that he truly feels very strongly about," said Lillard on Kaepernick. "It's his personal decision, his personal belief. I don't think it's fair to him that he's not getting an opportunity to play the sport that he loves because of a personal feeling that he has."

The 2013 NBA Rookie of the Year added, "I think the bigger problem is the fact that he's standing up for something that represents anything bigger than basketball or football, and they have a problem with it, I think that's an issue."

Dame Dolla's Confirmed includes the track “Run It Up” featuring Lil Wayne. The single will be officially released on September 22.
