(AllHipHop News) Former Rockefeller Mogul Damon Dash misses his old friendship with Jay-Z.
According to a new interview in Us Weekly, Damon Dash spoke candidly about his desires to rekindle a friendship with Roc Nation mogul.
Damon said: "I do miss the friendship. We were good friends. On a human level, of course we were friends, you miss the friendship.
"It was a camaraderie, we were both fighting for the same thing,” the Roc co-founder said. “There was ideals. I do miss those ideals - being around people that are honest and, you know, will do anything.”
The two business partners infamously split in 2004, when Roc-A-Fella was sold to Def Jam for $10 million.
In March of 2007, their business relationship grew even further apart, after the Roc-A-Wear clothing business was sold to Iconix Group for $204 million.
Damon might miss his relationship with Jay, but he's moved forward with his own business endeavors.
In addition to running the CEO clothing label, Dame also runs Dame Dash Studios and he recently launched the Dash Diabetes Network, aimed at educating people on the dangers of diabetes.
