(AllHipHop News) Three people were shot and one person is dead in a drive-by shooting that happened along the processional of Nipsey Hussle on Thursday, according to ABC News.
Not much information has been made public but the news spread virally after the police in Los Angeles condemned the violence.
Authorities stated the the incident happened on 103rd Street and Main Street around 6:25 pm. The matter left one woman dead and three men injured by gunfire. Their ages ranged from 30-50.
LAPD Chief Michel Moore tweeted, "We must stop this senseless violence."
The shooting happened as thousands took to the streets to celebrate the life and times of the 33-year old activist/business man/ rapper, born Ermias Asghedom.
No arrests had been made at the time of this writing.
Barack Obama sent a letter praising Nipsey Hussle for being an asset to his community.
"While most folks look at the Crenshaw neighborhood where he grew up and only see gangs, bullets and despair, he saw potential. He saw hope. He saw a community that even through its flaws fought him to always keep going," the former president stated. "His choice to invest in that community rather than to ignore it, to build a skills training center, a co-working space in Crenshaw, to lift up the Eritrean-American community."
The rapper was gunned down outside of his clothing shop on March 29. The accused shooter is 29-year old Eric Holder.
