Deb Antney: I Won't Slander Nicki Minaj Or Cardi B Because I'm Pro-Woman

The Mizay Entertainment founder is keeping it positive.

(AllHipHop News) For over a year, fans of Nicki Minaj and fans of Cardi B have fueled a feud between the two successful female rappers. Some other celebrities, such as Lil Yachty and Blueface, have taken sides in the beef as well.

Nicki's former manager Deb Antney chose not to join in on the negativity. Antney sat down with Bossip to talk about some of the publication's infamous headlines. Waka Flocka Flame's mother also explained why she will not engage in unfavorable conversations about Nicki or Cardi.

"Working with [Minaj] set a high bar with me for women. Period. I'm definitely not gonna say nothing negative against Nicki," expressed Antney. "Nobody could ever get me to say something negative against Nicki, but you're not gonna get me to say nothing negative about her. I'm not gonna say anything about Cardi B either because I'm pro-woman. Period."

Back in 2017, Deb Antney did an interview with AllHipHop where she was asked about the Nicki Minaj versus Remy Ma battle. The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta alum made it clear she was not a supporter of women in Hip Hop going at each other and would prefer to see the female artists come together.

Antney is not the only industry veteran that's more interested in unity than division. Atlanta's T.I. recently stated he was hopeful that Cardi B and Nicki Minaj would collaborate on another song. Tip also celebrated both chart-topping stars at his Lil Trap House Pop Up Exhibition in Los Angeles.

No. 1-2

We were always told as kids girls are smarter than boys which is possible but I have yet to figure out why Female MC's aren't smart enough to realize they are allowing themselves to get pitted against each other in Hip Hop which is the only genre that goes out of its way to do that. I know sometime's it's jealousy but it's really stupid as hell. You can have 20 TOP Male MC's/Rappers NO get 2 - 3 new female rappers start to blow up & before you know it a war has started.
