Details In Blocboy JB's Arrest: Cops Say Rapper Agreed To Cooperate & Reneged

Blocboy JB is jammed up in Shelby, County, Tennessee over drugs and guns found in his house.

(AllHipHop News) New details have emerged in the arrest of Blocboy JB and why he is in so much trouble.

Blocboy turned himself into the cops in Shelby, County Tennesse yesterday, to face a number of serious charges, including being a felon in possession of a handgun, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

According to cops, officers with the Shelby Narcotics Unit raided Blocboy JB's house in July and found six firearms, including one that was stolen.

JB allegedly confessed to knowing the guns were in the house while admitting the drugs in the house were his.

They also found an assortment of digital scales.

Police say they released Blocboy, because he agreed to cooperate with future investigations, but reneged on his commitment.

Almost a week after the warrant for his arrest, Blocboy, 22, surrendered yesterday (February 28) and quickly posted the $50,000 needed to regain his freedom.

Blocboy's lawyer maintains the popular rapper is innocent and believes the charges against him will be dismissed.

"We're very confident that the charges will be dismissed once we sit down with the prosecutors," his lawyer Aaron Neglia said.
