(AllHipHop News) The Big Day, Chance The Rapper's "debut" studio album, has been met with mixed reviews. Some critics have pointed out that the LP focuses very heavily on the Chicago resident's recent nuptials to Kirsten Corley and his Christian faith.
One social media user posted an "I Love My Wife" song that mocks Chano's latest body of work. The caption for the clip read, "This is really the entire Chance album in one Twitter video." The tweet has garnered over 28,000 retweets and 94,000 likes to date.
It appears Chance reacted to the viral vid. The 26-year-old Grammy winner tweeted, "I love my wife igh." Many of the replies to that tweet referenced the "I Love My Wife" meme. The day before, Chance tried to clown people spreading any jokes about The Big Day.
"If u tweeted that u liked the album and an account with a fake avi replied to u with a meme... pray for them. They having a rough time right now. #TheBigDay 🤣🤣," he wrote. Chance has since spent the last two days retweeting positive reactions to his new project.
