(AllHipHop News) Nicki Minaj lit the internet on fire when her "Barbie Dreams" track was released in August. One of the men Nicki specified on the song has answered her with his own record.
"Huncho Dreams" appears on Quavo's new solo LP Quavo Huncho. Some of the Migos member's lyrics suggest that he may have had a real relationship with Minaj in the past.
"Call up queen (Nicki). The queen can't flex on a young bull. Made her scream. Chanel, I bought her two of 'em. You can check IG. 'Cause when she post, it go up. Is she for keeps? Only if she come with two of 'em," raps Quavo.
He later interpolates Drake's "In My Feelings" by crooning, "Nicki, do you love me? Why you crying? She don't wanna be a queen unless she got me. She don't wanna be on scene unless we married. No cap, for real."
Quavo also referenced Nicki's "Chun-Li" as well as her hit collaboration "Fefe" with 6ix9ine. Minaj's ex-boyfriend Safaree and fellow female rapper Iggy Azalea also got named dropped on "Huncho Dreams."
Is this Quavo revealing a past fling with the Young Money rapstress or is it simply his musical response to "Barbie Dreams"? The 27-year-old Atlanta native is said to be in a relationship with Saweetie who makes an appearance on Quavo Huncho.
