Disney, Beats By Dre & Lil Yachty Team Up To Celebrate Mickey Mouse

Check out the video of Lil Boat discussing how it all started.

(AllHipHop News) 2018 marks the 90th birthday for Walt Disney's seminal character Mickey Mouse. The Disney company partnered with Beats By Dre to create a special-edition Beats Solo3 Wireless headphone celebrating the animated mascot.

Quality Control Music's Lil Yachty was tapped to appear in a 15-second promo clip for the Beats/Disney collaboration. The selection seems to be fitting considering the red-haired rapper recorded a song titled "Mickey" for his Lil Boat 2 album.

"We all start somewhere. For Beats it was in the studio. And for Disney, it was all started by a mouse. But the undeniable link between the two is music. Both Beats and Disney use this universal language to inspire people around the world to keep dreaming and keep the magic alive," reads the description for the "Mickey’s 90th Anniversary Edition Solo3 Wireless" video on YouTube.

According to HipHopDX, singer-songwriter Anne-Marie, actress Zhou Dongyu and pop duo AMIAYA are part of the Beats campaign as well. The Mickey Mouse 90th Anniversary Edition headphones will be available for purchase beginning November 11.

Additionally, Lil Yachty is also planning to release his Nuthin’ 2Prove project on October 19. The set features Playboi Carti, Juice WRLD, Lil Baby, Cardi B, Offset, Trippie Redd, Kevin Gates, Gunna, and others.
