(AllHipHop News) At midnight, DJ Khaled returns with his 11th studio album, Father of Asahd. The LP will include a track with John Legend and the late Nipsey Hussle.
The three music stars shot a video for the record prior to Nipsey's death. In an Instagram post, Khaled addressed the upcoming visuals and his intentions to give away all the money made off the "Higher" song.
"Just days prior, [Hussle] shared his energy and positivity with me on a video set for a song called, 'Higher.' After much prayer and reflection; and with the full blessing of the Asghedom family, I am sharing that moment with the world," wrote Khaled.
He added, "It is in this spirit, of moving forward, of preserving his mission that I, my co-writers, producers and label partners are donating 100% of all proceeds from 'Higher' to Nipsey's children, Emani and Kross."
Ermias "Nipsey Hussle" Asghedom was killed outside his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles on March 31. The Victory Lap creator was 33 years old.
