DJ Khaled Lands Huge Role With Will Smith And Martin Lawrence In New "Bad Boys"

The super producer/mogul is going to be in one the the biggest movies in years.

(AllHipHop News) DJ Khaled has landed a role in the "Bad Boys" sequel.

The 43-year-old music producer is joining returning stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, along with fellow newcomers Vanessa Hudgens and Alexander Ludwig, on "Bad Boys for Life."

It is not yet known what role he will play.

“NEW MOVIE ALERT!” the I’m The One star shared on Instagram alongside a snap of him on set. “Blessed to announce that I will be joining @willsmith and @Martinlawrence in the cast of @badboys #BadBoysForLife movie! I’m coming for the Oscars!! God Is The Greatest!!! GRATEFUL,” Khaled added.

Smith, 50, recently revealed on Instagram that production on the movie is finally underway.

“First day of shooting tomorrow!” he captioned a shot of him with co-star Lawrence. “We watched 'Bad Boys 1 & 2' together over the weekend. It’s about to be KRAZY!”

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are on hand to direct the sequel, with Jerry Bruckheimer returning as producer.

The highly-anticipated movie follows Smith and Lawrence’s characters Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett as they clash with a highly specialized police unit when a new threat emerges in Miami.

"Bad Boys for Life," a follow-up to 1995’s "Bad Boys" and 2003’s "Bad Boys II," is set to be released in January 2020.
