Young people will learn about composition, production, marketing, social media, and more.

(AllHipHop News) Hip Hop representative DJ Khaled is looking to inspire high school students to achieve academic success through music. The Get Schooled national spokesman will use his new “Win More Music Campaign” as a way to reach that goal.

Khaled announced the campaign during the VH1 Save the Music Foundation Gala where he received the Toyota Giving Award for his support of school music programs. "Win More Music Campaign” is expected to expose over one million young people to important components of the music industry including composition, collaboration, production, copyrighting, marketing, and social media.

“Being able to bring DJ labs to schools has been a dream of mine for years,” said Khaled. “Inspiring and motivating young kids to create music and work together is so important and I’m honored to be able to help create a place where that is possible.”

"Win More Music Campaign” follows Get Schooled's "Khaled Keys Campaign." DJ Khaled was honored in June for the success of the "Major Keys" program which reached over 250 million people.

Awesome news actually. Teaching kids to create music especially when professionals do it is awesome. I believe it's also important to teach working with music editors. I really like mainstage for PC about which you can read here. Have you tried it?
