(AllHipHop News) It seems like DJ Khaled and Tyler, The Creator are in the middle of a subliminal feud over first-week album sales. Tyler scored his first Billboard 200 chart topper when IGOR (165,000 units) outsold Khaled's Father of Ashad (136,000 units).
However, since those opening numbers for both LPs, Father of Ashad has outpaced IGOR week-to-week. The We The Best boss held onto the #2 chart position last week, while Tyler dropped to #3.
Khaled then slipped to #3 on the latest Billboard 200. The 39,000 week-three units for Father of Ashad were enough to make it the top-selling rap album for two consecutive weeks.
Tyler, The Creator’s Igor fell three spots to #6 in its third week with 32,000 units. According to reports, IGOR now sits at 248,000 total units. Father of Ashad is said to currently have 233,000 units sold.
Khaled appeared to throw shade at Tyler by suggesting the "Earfquake" performer's music is "mysterious sh*t" that no one listens to in public. Tyler then began trolling Khaled on social media. He recently liked a tweet that read, "Khaled’s album is like when someone has a trash ass outfit but every piece is designer so they think it’s fire."
