(AllHipHop News) More members of the Hip Hop community are stepping up to help the residents of Flint, Michigan. The city has been suffering through lead contamination in its water supply for years. Detroit native Big Sean recently donated $10,000 to the #HealFintKids fundraiser, and now fellow Roc Nation affiliate DJ Mustard is set to match Sean's contribution.
“As a father of two kids, the tragedy in Flint, Michigan hit home for me,” says DJ Mustard. “Shout out to Big Sean for starting this viral campaign. I hope my donation can encourage others to step up for an important cause.”
Mustard is partnering with The Sean Anderson Foundation which benefits the Community Foundation of Greater Flint Michigan’s “Flint Child Health & Development Fund.” The fund was set up by CFGF and its partners to ensure the long-term health of Flint families affected by the 2014-2016 water crisis.
