DMX Seeks Judge's Permission To Travel While On House Arrest

Earl Simmons is looking for permission to make money for his family outside of New York.

(AllHipHop News) Earl "DMX" Simmons' lawyer is asking a federal judge to allow his client to perform outside of New York.

According to TMZ, attorney Murray Richman wants X to be able to visit other cities for work in order to take care of his family.

The "Slippin'" rhymer was hoping to make it to an Atlanta gig on Thursday.

That request was denied, but he is also appealing for other dates over the next few weeks.

DMX was charged with 14 federal counts of tax evasion.

The 46-year-old Ruff Ryders representative pleaded not guilty and was released on bail.

Simmons currently cannot leave New York while the case is pending.
