Donald Glover Set To Star In Spider-Man Reboot

CHILDISH GAMBINO WILL PLAY SPIDERMAN!

(AllHipHop News) Donald Glover, known as Childish Gambino in the Hip-Hop world, has been cast for the 2017 reboot of the “Spider-Man” movie series.

Glover’s character is still unknown, however fans are speculating that he will reprise the role of Miles Morales, the black Spider-Man.

The rapper is familiar with the role after he voiced the character in the “Ultimate Spider-Man” animated series.

Glover is no stranger to the acting world, having starred in shows like NBC’s “Community” and his upcoming series “Atlanta,” of which he is lead actor, writer and co-executive producer.

He was even a fan favorite to play “Spider-Man” in Sony’s 2012 remake, but Andrew Garfield landed the role instead.

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” will be co-produced by Sony and Marvel and will be directed by Jon Watts.  Tom Holland, who played Spider-Man in Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” this year, will continue his role, while Robert Downey Jr. will reprise his role as Iron Man.

The movie is slated for release in 2017.
