outpouring of support from the people has been amazing,"
Big Boy said. "This tragedy has touched everyone.
We wanted to do something immediately to help these
innocent victims. I thought if each of our 1.6 million
listeners donated $1 dollar each, we'd raise over $1
million dollars for victim relief. That's the power
of a dollar."
City sister station Hot 97 is doing the same thing.
They have established the Hip-Hop Has Heart Foundation.
They too are asking for $1 dollar from each listener.
