Drake, Cardi B, Ella Mai, Beyoncé, Jay-Z & More Win 2019 Billboard Music Awards

Hip Hop had a huge showing at the BBMAs.

(AllHipHop News) Billboard magazine held its annual award show last night in Las Vegas. Drake was the big winner of the history-making night by grabbing 12 golden microphones. The OVO leader earned the top prize of Top Artist.

Bronx rapstress Cardi B went into the event with the most nominations (21). She walked out of the MGM Grand Garden Arena with 6 trophies, including Top Hot 100 Song ("Girls Like You" with Maroon 5), Top Rap Song ("I Like It" with Bad Bunny & J Balvin), and Top Rap Female Artist.

Singer Ella Mai was also a multiple winner at the 2019 BBMAs. The London native was named Top R&B Artist as well as Top R&B Female Artist. Her hit "Boo'd Up" was christened Top R&B Song.

Power couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z won Top R&B Tour and Top Rap Tour. Juice WRLD won Best New Artist, The Weeknd won Top R&B Male Artist, XXXTentacion won Top R&B Album (17), and Travis Scott won Top Audio Streaming Song ("Sicko Mode").
