Post Malone and XXXTentacion also had a great 2018 on the streaming service.

(AllHipHop News) In many ways, 2018 was the year of Drake. The OVO leader had the top consumed album (Scorpion), and he broke Billboard Hot 100 chart records.

Apple Music released its end-of-the-year report, and Drake dominated the music streamer's “Best Of 2018” charts. Drizzy took the #1 positions on the Top 100 Global Songs and Top 100 Global Albums lists.

Three of the top four '18 songs on Apple Music were by Drake - God's Plan (#1), Nice For What (#2), and "In My Feelings" (#4). Post Malone made up the rest of the top five - "Rockstar" featuring 21 Savage (#3) and "Psycho" featuring Ty Dolla $ign (#5).

Hip Hop controlled most of the Top 10 on the songs chart. Cardi B's "I Like It" with Bad Bunny & J Balvin (#6), XXXTentacion's "SAD!" (#7), BlocBoy JBs's "Look Alive" featuring Drake (#9), and Offset & Metro Boomin's "Ric Flair Drip" (#10) were among the most streamed records of the year.

On the Global Albums Chart, Drake's Scorpion (#1) is followed by Post Malone's beerbongs & bentleys (#2), Cardi B's Invasion of Privacy (#3), XXXTentacion's ? (#4), and Travis Scott's AstroWorld (#5). KOD by J. Cole (#9) and 17 by XXXTentacion (#10) were in the Top 10 too.

Apple Music named Drake "Artist of the Year" and "Top Hip Hop Artist." The "Breakout Artist of the Year" honor went to Juice WRLD. Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J. Balvin's "I Like It" was chosen as "Song of the Year."
