(AllHipHop News) HBO’s Euphoria has just been renewed for a second season.

The 8-episode drama, which is executive produced by Drake and Future The Prince, debuted on June 16 and follows a 17-year-old girl named Rue (played by Zendaya).

Rue is a drug addict who just left rehab and is struggling to find her way in the world. She then meets another girl named Jules (played by Hunter Schafer) who recently moved to her area following her parent’s divorce, at which point things get real juicy.

The television show also stars Maude Apatow, Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Storm Reid, Algee Smith, and Sydney Sweeney.

HBO said the series premiere delivered over 5.5M viewers across all their platforms.
