Drake Moves Into Second Place Tie On List Of Most Weeks At #1 For A Single Year

Drizzy is within striking distance of Usher's record.

(AllHipHop News) With "In My Feelings" remaining at #1 for the seventh week, Drake logged his 26th combined week in the top spot of the Hot 100 chart for 2018. This puts Champagne Papi in a tie on the all-time tally for a calendar year.

The Black Eyed Peas also held onto Number One for 26 weeks in 2009. The Hip Hop/Pop group managed that milestone with two songs - "Boom Boom Pow (12 weeks) and I Gotta Feeling (14 weeks).

Drake pulled off the feat with three records - "God's Plan" (11 weeks), "Nice for What" (8 weeks), and "In My Feelings (7 weeks). Both Drizzy and BEP trail the record-holder Usher.

The R&B superstar led the Hot 100 for 28 weeks. Usher's "Yeah!" featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris (12 weeks), "Burn" (8 weeks), "Confessions Part II" (2 weeks), and "My Boo" with Alicia Keys (6 weeks) dominated 2004.
