Drake Producing New Doc On U.S. Military Vets Deported To Mexico

Drizzy is diving into politics with a new documentary heading to Showtime.

(AllHipHop News) Drake continues to expand his footprint in the world of television, with a brand new docu-series heading to Showtime.

According to Deadline, Drake is one of the executive producers of a documentary called "Ready For War" which follows deported U.S. military vets.

The documentary centers around the veterans from Mexico who get deported, and end up in vastly different situations while trying to get back into the U.S.

According to Deadline: "Ready for War explores the issues of post-military service, including PTSD, drug abuse and crime convictions for combat veterans, as well as the larger ramifications for immigrant soldiers."

Drake and Adel Nur's Dreamcrew executive produced/produced the docu-series with eOne, along with David Ayer's and Chris Long’s company, Cedar Park.
