Drake Raps About Kevin Durant & Achilles On Rick Ross' "Gold Roses" Single

Before joining the Brooklyn Nets, KD was the target of Champagne Papi's trolling.

(AllHipHop News) Toronto Raptor Global Ambassador Drake and then-Golden State Warriors player Kevin Durant exchanged words following Game 2 of the NBA Finals in June. Drizzy has more words about the basketball All-Star in Rick Ross' new song "Gold Roses."

"All smiles, Kevin Durant trials. Had to blow it on the court, I must've blew a milli. I’m walking on all charges, that’s my new Achilles," raps Drake on the track off Rozay's upcoming Port of Miami 2 album. The LP is scheduled to hit DSPs on August 9.

Durant ruptured his Achilles tendon during Game 5 in Toronto after being unable to play in the playoffs for a month with a right calf strain. Drake was in attendance when the former league MVP got injured and his overly-concerned reaction became a meme on social media.

"Gold Roses" follows Rick Ross dropping "Act A Fool" featuring Wale and "Big Tyme" featuring Swizz Beatz. The MMG boss also provided a verse for Drake's "Money in the Grave" which came out after the Raptors won the 2019 NBA championship.
