Drake's Re-Released 'So Far Gone' Projected To Be Among Top-Selling New Releases

Drizzy could have two projects in the Top 10 at the same time.

(AllHipHop News) A ten-year-old, re-released mixtape could make a major dent on the album chart. HitsDailyDouble reports Drake's So Far Gone is in a tight race with Florida Georgia Line's Can't Say I Ain't Country for the title of this week's top-selling new release.

So Far Gone is on pace to collect 40,000 - 50,000 sales-plus-streaming units. Can't Say I Ain't Country is predicted to open in the 45,000 - 50,000 SPS range.

Drake first dropped So Far Gone as a free mixtape in 2009 before finally announcing the collection was being added to streaming services for the first time on February 15. The EP version of the classic project peaked at #6 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Ariana Grande's Thank U, Next is likely to return to the #1 position in its second week. The Pop superstar's fifth studio LP debuted with 360,000 first-week album-equivalent units.

In addition to the full So Far Gone presumably breaking into the Top 10, Drake's Scorpion continues to remain in the region. The 2018 album currently sits at #8 (35,000 units) on the Billboard 200 chart.
