Drake's Scores Another Huge Sales Week With 'Scorpion' In Week Two

The OVO leader is making sure that Northside eats.

(AllHipHop News) Drake broke all kinds of chart records when Scorpion hit iTunes and streaming services on June 29. The album's 732,000 first-week units were the most of 2018 so far, and the 25-track set became the first project to cross the 1 billion global streams mark.

Scorpion barely slowed down in week two. Drizzy added another 335,000 units, giving him the biggest second sales week since Adele’s 25 totaled 1.16 million second-week units in 2015.

Additionally, Drake's fifth studio album now owns two of the top three biggest streaming weeks in U.S. history. After bringing in 746 million streams (#1) last week, Scorpion collected 391 million streams (#3) in week two.

Post Malone splits those two totals. His Beerbongs & Bentleys mustered 431 million streams (#2) earlier this year. 2018's KOD by J. Cole is also among the top US streaming weeks with 323 million streams (#6).
