(AllHipHop News) It’s officially Coachella weekend.

While the unfortunate news of Kanye West not headlining due to the festival’s inability to match his stage production expectations still lingers, music-lovers from all over the world conjoined to celebrate the notion of live music, good company, and everlasting memories.

Ella Mai, Jaden Smith, Anderson .Paak, and Childish Gambino were on the bill for Friday.

Drake’s artists dvsn took some time to pay tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle, while Ella Mai shut down the Outdoor Stage with standout hits “Boo’d Up” and “Whatchamacallit” featuring Chris Brown.

Of course, anyone who’s a fan of soulful hip-hop is a fan of Paak. His most recent project Ventura even features the late Nate Dogg.

Coachella lovers flocked to his set at the main stage alongside his band The Free Nationals.

The grand finale was Childish Gambino who took the 11:25pm slot.

While many were geeked to see the same dance moves in “This Is America,” some were disappointed.

Masses ended up leaving during the set.

Can’t win ‘em all?
