(AllHipHop News) Fans of Eminem have been familiar with the emcee's daughter, Hailee, since the beginning of his career. Em rapped about his child on songs like "Cleanin' Out My Closet," "Hailie's Song," "My Dad's Gone Crazy," and "Mockingbird."
Hailie Scott Mathers is now speaking out. The 22-year-old Detroit resident was profiled for theDaily Mail, and the article included a focus on her burgeoning role as a social media influencer.
"Of course, we are very close," answered Scott when asked if she sees her dad often. It seems Eminem is also supportive of Hailie's Instagram fame.
The younger Mathers is not interested in following in her father's musical footsteps. Hailie, who studied psychology at Michigan State University, may enter the make-up tutorial world that's popular on YouTube. However, she hasn't officially made up her mind about her career moves.
"I'm not sure yet, it's kind of up in the air, still," said the offspring of the long-separated couple of Marshall Mathers and Kim Mathers.
Hailie Mathers joins other rappers' children to enter the limelight. Jaden Smith and Willow Smith became bona fide stars in their own right after being introduced as the successors to Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Joseph "Rev Run" Simmons' kids - Vanessa Simmons, Angela Simmons, and Diggy Simmons - have built brands under their individual names. T.I. and Tiny's daughter Zonnique Pullins launched her own singing career. Plus, Ice Cube's son O'Shea Jackson Jr. is now one of the hottest young actors in Hollywood.
