Emory University Books Migos and Gets Scammed Out Of Money
(AllHipHop News) Emory University had paid Global Talent Agency, a third party booking agency, to schedule the concert, which was to take place at the Annual Dooley’s week celebrations.
When Chris Hopper of 11Alive called the agency on Wednesday night, a man picked the call but blamed Emory for the mishap.
The man claimed Emory reps did not wire the money properly the first time and when they sent the second wire, the group had booked a different show for the night.
A rep for GTA said Emory would get a refund but did not give the amount or when it will be refunded.
On the Migos website, they have not listed GTA as the booking contact and Ticketmaster indicates that the group has a show in Mississippi on the scheduled night.
