Erykah Badu, Luke James, Queen Naija & More Perform In Soul Train Awards Cypher

(AllHipHop News) The Queen of Neo-Soul Erykah Badu showed off her rapping skills during a cypher at the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards. Badu took it back to her R&B roots for the 2018 Soul Train Awards Soul cypher.

The night's Legend Award winner was behind the turntables for the singing set. She was joined by BJ the Chicago Kid, Queen Naija, Luke James, and Kelly Price.

The show also featured live performances by Badu, Faith Evans, Bell Biv Devoe, Donell Jones, Carl Thomas, Jon B, Jacquees, and more acts. Martin stars Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell served as the ceremony's hosts.

In addition, Faith was honored with the Lady of Soul Award. Other award recipients included Daniel Caesar (Best New Artist), Ella Mai (Best R&B/Soul Female Artist), Bruno Mars (Best R&B/Soul Male Artist), Lecrae (Best Gospel/Inspirational Award), Drake (Rhythm & Bars Award - “In My Feelings”), and H.E.R. (Album/Mixtape Of The Year - H.E.R.).
