(AllHipHop News) Another day, another lawsuit for the Cash Money Records founder.
Now, a former employee of Birdman claims he is owed over $20,000 for his work.
Last month, Nicolas Penzo took Bird and his label to court, claiming he worked from 2015 to 2017 as Birdman’s property manager, but was not paid in full for his time.
According to the court documents, Nicolas proved he was compensated every two or three months, with payments in mostly cash.
His duties included everything from coordinating cleaning services to coordinating household duties, such as electrical work to keep the house running.
The documents reveal Penzo is owed $8,900 and an additional $15,000 based on Birdman’s proposed rate of $150 per day.
Now, he’s demanding the $23,900, which includes not only the hard work he’s put in, but overtime hours as well.
This isn’t the first time Birdman has been accused of not paying the bills.
It looks like Nicolas will have to get in line behind Lil Wayne and the rest of the folks.
