EXCLUSIVE: Astro Talks "Earth To Echo", Filming With An Alien + MORE (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Three years ago, Astro was a 14 year old budding Hip Hop artist that shocked the world on talent show X Factor. Earlier this week, Astro sat down EXCLUSIVELY with AllHipHop to discuss starring his first feature motion picture, "Earth To Echo", technology's affect on today's society and more.

In the film, Astro plays Tuck and with his two other friends, Munch and Alex, traced the source of encrypted messages sent to their phones only to discover an extraterrestrial robot they named "Echo". According to Brooklyn-bred Astro, he had an entirely different idea of what the film would be and did not know he was going to be filming with a CGI robot until midway through shooting:

I didn't really prepare like I was supposed to for the film. So I didn't actually know there would be this alien involved until like, mid-filming. If we had to film on Tuesday, I would just read the scene we had to film on Tuesday. Before then, the original name of the film, because they wanted to keep the name of the idea secret, was Untitled Wolf Project. So, I thought it was going to be some wolves involved. Then I found out, wow, there's going to be some alien involved.

"Earth To Echo" will hit theaters on July 2nd.
