Fabolous Rejects Plea Deal For Allegedly Beating Up His Girlfriend Emily B

Fab is refusing to accept any deals.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Fabolous has reportedly rejected a plea deal in his domestic violence case.

The rapper, real name John Jackson, is facing third-degree charges of aggravated assault and making terroristic threats after an alleged incident with his longtime girlfriend, "Love & Hip Hop" reality star Emily B, in March.

He surrendered to local police in Englewood, New Jersey, and was subsequently released with desk tickets to appear in court at a later date.

He was facing three to five years in prison, but reports surfaced in June, suggesting the rapper and his lawyer had attended a "early disposition hearing," with his legal representative informing the judge the 40-year-old planned to take a "pre-trial intervention" deal.

However, it has now emerged that Fabolous is deciding to take his chances at a potential trial, instead of plead guilty to a lesser charge and accept punishment.

"This matter has been dragging since April," the prosecutor told the judge. "It was supposed to be a PTI (pre-trial intervention) entry, but that apparently was rejected."

According to reporrs, members of a grand jury will review the case next month.
