(AllHipHop News) Malcolm James McCormick died on September 7, 2018. The rapper/producer/television personality better known as Mac Miller left an unassailable impression on millions of followers around the world.

Some of those supporters are planning to gather together on the anniversary of Miller's death to celebrate the star's life and legacy. The Mac Miller Memorial fan page is promoting the festivities set to take place in Pittsburgh.

"September 7th at Blue Slide Park at 12 pm until whenever. We will have music & videos being played.. this is a time to share the amazing memories of an amazing person 🙏🏼," reads a tweet from the @MacMillerMemoir Twitter account.

Mac Miller's official estate is not connected to the celebration, but representatives of the late entertainer are said to be aware of the event. Prior to his accidental overdose death, the Grammy-nominated performer released well-received albums such as Watching Movies with the Sound Off, The Divine Feminine, and Swimming.
