(AllHipHop News) A major theme of Eminem's Kamikaze album centers around the emcee firing back at critics of his 2017 album Revival. A look at first-week sales projections for Em's 10th studio LP suggests he regained the attention of a few fans he may have lost last year.
Kamikaze is currently on pace to pull in 290,000 - 330,000 equivalent album units in its opening week. Revival debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 267,000 equivalent album units.
2013's The Marshall Mathers LP 2 sold 792,000 copies in week one. That was the last Eminem album to be released before Soundscan began adding on-demand streaming numbers to album sales.
