Flavor Flav Taking Over Las Vegas With New Variety Show

Public Enemy's Flavor Flav has pulled together a powerful team and a bunch of celebs for a new variety show.

(AllHipHop News) Public Enemy group member Flavor Flav has his sights on Las Vegas, with a new high-profile variety show.

Flav is developing a new show called "Flavor Flav's Vegas," where he will interview celebrities, participate in comedy sketches and jam with the musical guests since he can play 14 musical instruments.

Art will also be incorporated into the show as Flavor will interview top visual artists such as Tristan Eaton, Shepard Fairey, Ron English, Buff Monster, David Flores, Jermaine Rogers, Jesse Hernandez and more.

“I always dreamed of being a variety show host, and I think it’s about time,” Flavor Flav said. “And Las Vegas needs a talk show. I want to be the one to bring Vegas its first real live talk show. It won’t just be me interviewing guests, but also I’m going to have a variety of people coming through my show that are in movies and television."

Flavor, born William Drayton Jr., has lined up some serious partners for the show.

"Flavor Flav's Vegas" will be directed by veteran television executive Leon Knoles, who has credits on shows like "the Arsenio Hall Show," "America’s Got Talent," "The Talk" and "Last Comic Standing."

Additionally, Flav has signed superproducer Teddy Riley to serve as the music director of the variety show.

Flavor Flav is executive producer of the show, along with Kate Gammell, entertainment attorney R. Vaughn, JoAnn Tominaga and marketing and promotions executive Michael Nixon.

"Flavor Flav's Vegas" is slated to debut in 2018.
