Flipp Dinero Drops The Teyana Taylor-Directed Video For "If I Tell You"

The Brooklyn rapper and the Harlem vocalist team up to tell a late 1990s/early 2000s NYC love story.

(AllHipHop News) Teyana Taylor (aka Spike Tee) was back behind the camera for another music video. Her latest directorial work is Flipp Dinero's "If I Tell You."

In the visuals, shot inside a restaurant and a skating rink, the 23-year-old We The Best/Cinematic Music Group recording artist courts a potential love interest. The clip drew inspiration from Chris Robinson's ATL movie, Fabolous' "Trade It All," and DMX's "How It Goes Down."

"If I Tell You" has reportedly collected more than 4 million streams since its release in April. Previously, Flipp Dinero racked up over 6.7 million YouTube views for the platinum-certified "Leave Me Alone."

Teyana Taylor's directing résumé now includes videos by Monica, Lil Duval, Lil Durk, and her husband Iman Shumpert. In addition, the G.O.O.D. Music singer has self-directed some of her own MVs.
