Record producer/deejay GLK is accused of drugging and raping two women back in 2013.

(AllHipHop News) Sexual assault, sexual harassment, and rape are serious topics in pop culture at the moment. With allegations against film producer Harvey Weinstein, rapper Nelly, and President Donald Trump making recent headlines, sexual misconduct is being discussed all across the country.

Hip Hop producer/deejay William "The Gaslamp Killer" Bensussen is also facing accusations of raping two women in 2013. GLK's former Brainfeeder label mate Flying Lotus defended him during a concert at the Red Bull Music Academy Festival Los Angeles.

FlyLo ended his October 14 set by playing a Gaslamp Killer song and then telling the crowd, “The internet is a f-cking liar. Ain’t nobody judge and jury but the f-cking law, okay?"

The You're Dead! album creator has since apologized for the comments. HipHopDX spoke to FlyLo about his defense of GLK.

“I wanted to sincerely apologize for my comments at my show. I realize they were insensitive. This is a tough time for all of us, men and women. I’m having trouble finding my voice in all of this. I am truly heartbroken," said Flying Lotus. "My stage has always been a place for what’s in my heart until now. I feel as internet-wielding people we have to learn to give each other space to feel, to honor each other’s reactions and experiences without bullying. I care about this community and its impact so much.”

Bensussen denied he drugged and raped his accuser. According to the 34-year-old California native, he engaged in consensual sex.

Low End Theory has officially cut ties with The Gaslamp Killer. Brainfeeder, which was founded by Flying Lotus, issued a statement clarifying the indie label has not released any GLK music in over five years.
