(AllHipHop News) The Kanye West-produced track "Gucci Mane" by French Montana is not even out yet and someone is already claiming it is a rip-off of their own music. Atlanta rapper 9Gotti is accusing West, along with Montana's label heads Diddy and Rick Ross, of stealing his song.
According to TMZ, 9Gotti's label Chinga Chang Recordscontacted Kanye, Diddy, and Ross in attempt to prevent French's version from even being released.
The site reports:
The record label sent a cease and desist letter that's pretty comical ... saying the ripoff may have been a "drunken oversight." It also takes a shot at Diddy -- accusing him of being a music thief -- and says Rick Ross should know better because he's an ex-correctional officer.
French revealed during an interview with Power 106 last month that he did have a song called "Gucci Mane" that features Ross and Lil Wayne. He also acknowledged the Mac & Cheese single was produced by Kanye along with The Mekanics.
