(AllHipHop News) A$AP Yams, the late founder of the Harlem Hip Hop collective A$AP Mob, joined The Notorious B.I.G. and Aaliyah in being laid to rest at New York City's Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home. Normal services and a fan ceremony were held for Yams on Sunday (January 25).
A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg were among the attendees of the home-going. While it still remains unclear what caused the death of A$AP Yams, his crew's frontman denied the reported claims that drugs played a part in his passing.
"People were saying that Yams overdosed on drugs—he didn't overdose on any drugs," said Rocky during his appearance at the Sundance Film Festival.
