Fuse Celebrates "Hip-Hop At 45" With Documentaries, Video Countdowns & More

The cable channel presents the history of the culture.

(AllHipHop News) Fuse viewers will get blessed with 45 days of Hip Hop content. Starting August 5th, the network will air the television premiere of the Hip-Hop Evolution docuseries.

The four-night broadcast is part of Fuse's "Hip-Hop at 45" lineup. Each Saturday will feature a series of video countdowns: 45 Legends of Hip-Hop, Hip-Hop’s First Hits, 45 Freshman of Hip-Hop, 45 Videos of the 2000s, Iconic Hip-Hop Videos, 45 Hip-Hop Crossovers, and FM’s Guide to the 45 Best Hip-Hop Videos.

Fuse's social networks will also highlight the "biggest beefs in Hip-Hop" and a “Today in Hip-Hop history" #TBT. Plus, the social media content includes “Hip-Hop + album/street art” on Mondays, “Fashion in Hip-Hop” on Tuesdays, “Women in Hip-Hop" on Wednesdays, "Hip-Hop playlists by the decade” on Fridays, “Photography in Hip-Hop” on Saturdays, and “Sports + Hip-Hop” on Sundays.

The cable channel's “Hip-Hop At 45” programming will end on Saturday, August 11. That's the date DJ Kool Herc threw his famous 1520 Sedgwick Ave party in 1973 which is considered the catalyst for Hip Hop culture.
